I had heard many horrible contractor stories before beginning the project, but I didn’t run into any of the problems or issues that often come up with contractors. The project was a total gut and rebuild. Danny was always professional and punctual. The project was completed efficiently and within the time-frame and budget laid out at the beginning.

• My house was built in 1900. When I purchased the home 2 years ago, I walked into a disaster! Floors on the second floor were all dipping 6+ inches, doors and door frames uneven and wouldn’t close, and the stairs were creeking very loudly. This past week I hired Danny to level off my second floor flooring, redo my stairs to fix the creaking and completely replace the doors/frames to be even so they would close properly! All I can say is WOW! A+++++ contractor in my book! Danny is a perfectionist, clean/neat, and great at what he does! And his team is just as awesome! After careful consideration based on how my family has seen him work this past week, we are going to hire him for 2 major projects we are going to do, one in which is an in-law apartment for my elderly mother and the other addition to make room for my wife and I’s growing family! A+++++ comes more then highly recommended!

• I am the Principal at Warren Square Design, an interior design firm in Boston. I have used Danny Ruby on a number of jobs for clients including framing, sheet rocking and wood floor installations. Most recently, Danny just completed building an entire wall of custom cabinetry for a client. He was able to follow the complex construction drawings including the installation of multiple pairs of a special hinge that the design required. His cabinet making skills showed when I asked him to duplicate 6 doors based on just on an inspiration photograph. Danny built a prototype door, and then was able to make revisions to it that resulted in a door that was exactly that I wanted. He also offered suggestions on small construction details that resulted in a beautiful wall of cabinets. Danny is a highly skilled carpenter and a great choice for residential construction. He does high quality work, is easy to work with, leaves the job site completely clean and is fairly priced. I will continue to use Refine Construction for my client’s jobs.
